About that silly speech ...

Ed Morrisey reads Dear Leader's Address to the nation's young skulls full of mush and once finds more evidence of Obama's Narcissistic Personality Disorder

Although the Department of Education has shed the lesson plans to pledge unyielding support for Dear Leader (the teacher's unions have that covered anyway), his speech contains:

- 56 iterations of “I”
- 19 iterations of “school”
- 10 iterations of “education”
- 8 iterations of “responsibility”
- 7 iterations of “country”
- 5 iterations each of “parents”, “teachers”
- 3 iterations of “nation”

In other words, Barack Obama referenced himself more than school, education, responsibility, country/nation, parents, and teachers combined.

Lefties are saying, "Hey, Bush and Reagan made speeches to schoolchildren, so what's the big deal." This is the big deal: Reagan and Bush never cultivated the trappings of a fascist personality cult the way Obama has; the rallies in sports stadiums with thousands chanting party slogans, the children singing hymns to the dear leader, a fawning mass media made into a relentless propaganda machine for the regime. To anyone who isn’t a glassy-eyed cultist, all of this seems profoundly un-American. Obama has never told his followers to knock it off. Quite the contrary, he acts as though he feels entitled to it. The man is devoid of humility.

"Look in my eyes, what do you see?"

Friday Funny: Steven Crowder On Gay Marriage

Normally I would include Crowder's vlog bits on the Weekend Linkfest, but the Gay Leprechaun was too hilarious.

TGIF. More to come next week.

Your Children Belong To The Obamessiah

"Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted." - Vladmir Lenin

If Obamunism doesn't scare the hell out of you yet, your children are soon to be indoctrinated by Chairman Zero's minions in the public schools like this.

In Case of Accidental Poisoning, Read This Post

Pick the most nauseating tribute to the Dead Kennedy:

  • Harry Smith, See BS News: "Over five decades, Ted Kennedy carried the torch passed on by his brothers, for civil rights, for the poor, and for the sick."

  • Katie "Turd Measurement" Couric, See BS News: "For nearly half a century in the Senate, Ted Kennedy spoke for the people who had no voice — the poor and the disabled, children and the elderly."

  • Bob Schieffer, See BS news: "In a sense he was the classic American hero."

  • NPR's Nina Totenberg: "He'll be remembered as a truly Shakespearean figure: tragic, flawed; who in the end achieved redemption through greatness."

You'd never know that this saint had left a woman to die in his car while he strategized over how to prevent her death from obstructing his political career, had sexually assaulted waitressses in a DC restaurant, or had donated less than 1% of his considerable income to charity.

Not Surprising - Dem Praises Commies

CongressMoonbat Diane Watson (M-CA) praises Fidel Castro and the Cuban healthcare.

Oh, yes, the Cuban healthcare system is really a step above anywhere else.

Wonder why then a lot of Cubans risk their lives coming over here across the Straits Of Florida if they've got it all in CastroLand?
