SILVERTON, Ore. - Silverton's openly-transgender mayor is under fire for his choice of attire at a recent speaking engagement with a group of students.
Silverton Together, a nonprofit group that supports families and their well-being, filed a formal complaint regarding Mayor Stu Rasmussen's choice of clothing.
Ken Hector, president of Silverton Together, said the mayor violated the city's dress code when he spoke to a group of leadership students wearing only a bathing suit top, a miniskirt and high heels. Hector added three parents complained to him directly about the mayor's appearance.
"This was a business meeting pure and simple and it was not something on his free time," Hector said. …
Rasmussen argues the city dress code does not apply to him since he is transgender.
I can't believe the voters, regardless of how moonbatty they are, would put a .... uh,.... thing in charge to make decisions effecting thousands of people when It can't make a decision on whether it's a dude or a chick. Maybe they need to see if the water has something funny in it in Oregon.
But this is another battle in the Culture War, and the libtards are winning. If they can have what should be a man elected as a mayor, dressed as a woman in a skimpy outfit, speaking in front of kids and claim it to be normal, then the slippery slope will go down a lot further to even more degenerative depths.

The total lack of respect of the Libs just astounds me. Yet they want us to fall into lockstep with them.
I don't think so. No, not I!
Who was that great patriot who opined that, ultimately, voters get the kind of government they deserve?
What do you expect? ITS OREGON!
This Oregonian lives about an hour away from this freak. Thankfully Silverton is a tiny town and his degenerate behavior will have somewhat limited influence.
No offense intended, it is just that the people from Oregon who end up making the news seem to be somewhat... well... lets just call the eccentric. ;)
