Bizarro! Obama Defends Bush From Media Criticism

Ain't that cute.......... but it's WRONG!

Even a broken clock is right twice a day. Good on the current president for recognizing Bush has, and still is receiving unfair treatment from the press. Doesn't mean that he is right in his lackluster foreign policy though. I mean, what kind of person invites the despotic regime in Iran to have picnics here on our holiday in the midst of extreme bloody chaos carried out by their leaders?

I don't imagine that Reagan would have invited Gaddafi over for tea let along this slap in the face that Obama's doing.

ABC - Another Barack Channel Pushes For Obamacare

A huge example of blatant media bias. This just hot off the presses at Drudge:

ABC TURNS PROGRAMMING OVER TO OBAMA; NEWS TO BE ANCHORED FROM INSIDE WHITE HOUSE
Tue Jun 16 2009 08:45:10 ET

On the night of June 24, the media and government become one, when ABC turns its programming over to President Obama and White House officials to push government run health care -- a move that has ignited an ethical firestorm!

Highlights on the agenda:

ABCNEWS anchor Charlie Gibson will deliver WORLD NEWS from the Blue Room of the White House.

The network plans a primetime special -- 'Prescription for America' -- originating from the East Room, exclude opposing voices on the debate.

So much for a "fair and balanced" media. Charlie Gibson and the rest of the lemmings at ABC News are pushing for Obama to ration our healthcare, limit prescriptions, bring about huge waits the likes of what is seen in Canada and Great Britain. Meanwhile, any dissenting opinion will not be tolerated as the GOP got the boot from ABC.

Of course, just like in Soviet Russia, The Party will have no problems getting good healthcare and access to the best doctors. Charlie Gibson and the rest of the lemmings will be treated with the best medicine that there is to offer, while the rest of us wait weeks (if we're lucky) for simple procedures and surgeries, and the elderly... in order to save costs, will likely receive no treatment.

Obamacare will bring about another nightmare in medicine like we've seen in Cuba. But don't expect the media, who is without a doubt a mouthpiece for the Democrat party, to speak out about it.

Evan Thomas's Media Bias And Idolatry

Let's compare and contrast here. Most of the blogosphere is lit up with the story regarding Evan Thomas of Newsweak saying days ago on Hardball with that putz Chris Matthews that "Obama’s standing above the country, above – above the world, he’s sort of God."

How did he feel about Bush just a couple of years ago? Evan Thomas wears his media bias on his sleeve. On the show Inside Washington on February 2nd of 2007 when asked by the host if the media were treating Bush unfairly, Thomas said:

"Well, our job is to bash the president, that's what we do."

Not this one, apparently. The media is too busy with their lips plastered to his keester. It's up to talk radio, Fox News, and the blogosphere to bring us the real news now since the lamestream media will not mention anything negative associated to Obama or his policies. Do we hear stories on the homeless now as we did day in and day out when Reagan and Bush were president? No. Why would they want to upset their "God"?

This Messiah has yet to perform one "miracle" to help us recover from this massive recession. But you might not know that we are in economic trouble if you listen to Evan Thomas and the rest of his cronies in the kiss-ass media.

Rove Against Card Check

Card check does not play in Peoria. Former adviser to President George W. Bush was in town yesterday speaking at one of the downtown hotels against the misnamed "Employee Free Choice Act", which basically makes votes to unionize public. From The Peoria Journal Star:

Labor leaders say relationships they worked to build with management for more than 20 years in central Illinois were jeopardized Monday with Karl Rove's appearance to speak against the Employee Free Choice Act.

Though his appearance only lasted about an hour, the effects will be long lasting. The closed-door fundraiser was hosted by the Economic Freedom Alliance, a seven-state coalition that opposes the legislation and is traversing the Midwest.

"This group comes in without any care or any sensitivity towards those relationships. Bringing Karl Rove in is a lightning rod. That's not somebody you bring in to have a meaningful dialogue," said state Sen. Dave Koehler, D-Peoria.

Rove was a former adviser to President George W. Bush and currently is a commentator for Fox News. About 200 people representing roughly 30 unions rallied outside the Hotel Pere Marquette supporting the act, which they say will make it easier for employees to join labor unions.

The thing about card check is that it brings in more government to the workplace and further intruding on your lives. Those who should normally be making the decisions regarding union contracts - the employers and employees - would have the terms ultimately dictated to them by Big Government. Most importantly, each worker would be required to publicly declare their candidate of choice to anyone within eyesight or earshot. How is that "free choice"? Especially when you know how "coercive" union leaders can be?

I admit, in some places unions were needed for fair treatment of workers. But this was back in the days of kids working in coal mines and people exhausting themselves working 14 hour days 6 days a week. Now there are laws in effect that do protect workers from harsh practices. Unions anymore are more of a political arm for the Democrat party. Look at the teacher's unions, the UAW, SEIU, AFSCME, etc. All vote heavily Democrat. Why? They want to vote in the party that's going to help them more, such as with this card check even though it takes away the right to privacy (you libs should be all for that) of the employees on whether to unionize or not.

Now I know the libs would view someone like Karl Rove "in favor of big businesses and the corporations!" But it's "big business" that does employ people and work to keep prices low for the consumer. Take a look at Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart has the lowest prices around due to the fact that they do not have to raise them to pay for a union. Therefore more people shop there, and more jobs are needed. Karl Rove is not in favor of "big business". He and many others are in favor of big wallet America. Less union dues equals more money in your pocket! Now, if we could only do something about those high taxes.

I would put up the rest of the piece, but it is extremely biased. Probably due to the unionized forces (and the Democrat sycophants) for the PJ Star. They say nothing about the negative aspects, for which there are plenty including loss of jobs, in the story whatsoever.

Henpecked in Chief

Came across this on Red State and found it halfway interesting.

Notice that at 30 seconds, Barack stiffs Carla - check the look in his eyes. Yes, that look. Sure enough, at second 33, Michelle is checking the scene to make sure he’s still on his leash. Three seconds — 3 whole frakking seconds– that’s how much leeway the poor guy had.

Of course the drool-by media (to twist Rush's term around) says that Bruni stiffed Obama, but only the UK Sun got it halfway right, wrong headline, right story. But I really don't blame Hussein that much. Michelle probably got those toned strong arms the fashion magazines clamor about by strangling the masculinity out of Barry.

But if you think this is something, this is nothing. Just wait until Obama has all of America p*ssywhipped by third world dictators by being too much of a pussy to deal with them forcefully.

News For Dummies

One third of young Americans, according to a survey done by Rasmussen, get their news from such fake news sources as The Daily Show and The Colbert Report (PMSNBC should be included in there too, in my opinion).

This according to Rasmussen:

Nearly one-third of Americans under the age of 40 say satirical news-oriented television programs like The Colbert Report and The Daily Show with Jon Stewart are taking the place of traditional news outlets.

Thirty-two percent (32%) of adults ages 30-39 believe this to be true, while 42% disagree, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey.

Thirty percent (30%) of those ages 18-29 say programs like the two Comedy Central shows that feature news reports with a comic twist are replacing traditional news outlets, but 35% disagree and another 35% are not sure.

Although with today's politicians, it's hard to say which is news and which is satire. But it still makes for dumb people who watch it and take it seriously. It'd be like if I started reading Scrappleface (which is hilarious) or The Onion and posting it as actual news. Well, not me but another big blog such as Instapundit or Power Line.

I've seen both shows a few times, and while they both skew to the left, at least Steven Colbert is halfway funny. Jon Stewart (or as Mark Levin calls him, Jon Leibowitz, which is his actual Jewish surname) is just a hack. But if one third of young Americans actually get their news from the likes of Comedy Central, it's no wonder they voted in a constant joke for President.

Fish Wrap Bailout

You knew this was coming.

With many U.S. newspapers struggling to survive, a Democratic senator on Tuesday introduced a bill to help them by allowing newspaper companies to restructure as nonprofits with a variety of tax breaks.

“This may not be the optimal choice for some major newspapers or corporate media chains but it should be an option for many newspapers that are struggling to stay afloat,” said Senator Benjamin Cardin.

So the liberals want to bailout the newspapers (most who pledge their allegiance to The 0ne) but yet tax small businesses who make over 200 thousand a year more? Small business owners provide jobs to most American people. The fourth estate provides nothing but left wing drivel disguised as news and people aren't buying them. A bailout will not increase sales for newspapers. This is just shoveling more of your hard earned money into a black hole. And the way the economy is headed, if you (like I) buy newspapers for birdcage liner, you can expect it to be cheaper to line it with dollar bills instead of the Chicago Tribune.

I Hate The Media has more on this topic. Plus it's a great blog anyway, so go check it out.

Levin's Liberty & Tyranny

Got mine ordered a couple weeks ago. I believe they still have the 40% off deal at Amazon.com, but it comes out today. Should be a good read as Men In Black was, so I am looking forward to receiving it.

Via Mark Levin Fan, here's Mark talking with Sean Hannity about the book and the book signing he had on Saturday.

UPDATE: Just thought I'd post Levin at the Media Research Center Awards this past week. If you enjoy Mark's barrage he gives every day on the radio, you'll enjoy this. If you have no idea who the hell Mark Levin is, get a radio after you watch the video.

Bobby Jindal on 60 Minutes

Watch CBS Videos Online

Morley Safer of 60 Minutes introduces Louisiana governor Bobby Jindal as an "awkward young man", "not ready for primetime" who gave it his all up against "the greatest political orator the country has seen in ages". Even though this piece is oozing over the edges with liberal bias, Jindal shines when he is off script and talking to average Americans. The governor also reveals that he has no secret plan to run against Obama in 2012. Too bad there.

Why I Love Ann Coulter

She makes moonbat libs froth at the mouth with their craziness. Check the video.

Here's a transcript of a piece of the back and forth in which Blowhard attempts to put Ann in a bad light:

BEHAR: Do you think that people hate you?
COULTER: No. Not when I have seven "New York Times" best-sellers. No, I'm -- I'm very popular.
BEHAR: But you -- no, you can't have everybody love you. Not everybody loves you, Ann. People think that...
COULTER: You asked me if people hated me...
BEHAR: But you said because you sell books that makes you people -- that makes you think that people love you...
COULTER: I said that indicates to me that they do not hate me, which was the question, Joy.

Ann Coulter trying to discuss geo-political issues with raving moonbat Joy Behar is like trying to have an intelligent discussion with a rabid chihuahua on amphetamines.

Obamagasms are real

From reading this article over at Moonbattery, it makes me think that truth is stranger than fiction. When we made fun of PMSNBC newstwit Chris Matthews exclaiming after an Obama speech "I got a thrill up my leg", it was just in good fun saying Tweety Bird was having an "obamagasm". Turns out it's sadly true!

Many women — not too surprisingly — were dreaming about sex with the president. In these dreams, the women replaced Michelle with greater or lesser guilt or, in the case of a 62-year-old woman in North Florida, whose dream was reported to me by her daughter, found a fully above-board solution: “Michelle had divorced Barack because he had become ‘too much of a star.’ He then married my mother, who was oh so proud to be the first lady,” the daughter wrote me.

There was some daydreaming too, much of it a collective fantasy about the still-hot Obama marriage. “Barack and Michelle Obama look like they have sex. They look like they like having sex,” a Los Angeles woman wrote to me, summing up the comments of many. “Often. With each other. These days when the sexless marriage is such a big celebrity in America (and when first couples are icons of rigid propriety), that’s one interesting mental drama.”

Biting The Hand That Feeds

After the media's love affair with Obama got him elected to the highest in the free world, now it's a bit different. This is another tidbit from Newsbusters

On January 22 the Associated Press posted an interesting little tidbit of news about how Team Obama is treating the press. Apparently, the Obama White House is trying to force news agencies to use Obama's own, special, ostensibly "official" photographer's photos taken at Obama press conferences instead of allowing news agencies to have their own photogs present to record the event. As a result of this attempt by Obama to control his image, the AP and Reuters are a bit miffed that Obama is trying to control the press with such an iron fisted move like this.

All I have to ask is: NOW they get worried that Obama is not too dedicated to freedom of the press? After Obama is fairly elected, NOW the Old Media is beginning to question The One on his treatment of them?

Not to mention Obama is only going to let a select few of media bootlickers to have access to him. All other White House press need not raise their hands.

I guess they are questioning all those halo pics they took of them during the campaign. Seems like the honeymoon is soon to be over after the MSM made Obama what he is today. There's "transparency" and "an open government" for you.

Change...Coming To A Theater Near You

More Obamamania here. According to The Hollywood Report, MSNBC (and they say there's no liberal media) has brokered a deal for Obamunists, if they can get out of their parents' basements for the day, to see The Big Zero's inauguration on the big screen.

Obama inauguration to air in theaters
MSNBC pact puts coverage in 27 U.S. locations

By Paul J. Gough

Jan 12, 2009, 07:15 PM ET

President-elect Barack Obama is on his way to the big screen, thanks to a deal between MSNBC and Screenvision that will put the news channel's inaugural coverage in 27 theaters around the country.

Free tickets are being handed out via MSNBC.com to see the inauguration and parade from 11 a.m.-3:30 p.m. ET at the 27 theaters run by 11 exhibitor partners in 21 markets. Midday Tuesday isn't necessarily a big movie time, so it helps to fill the theater -- and boost popcorn and soda sales -- at a time when it's not usually busy.

That means that Keith Olbermann, Rachel Maddow, Chris Matthews and other MSNBC and NBC personalities will play the big movie screen in addition to the usual MSNBC cable and satellite stream. MSNBC won't be in high-definition until the second quarter, but both the channel and Screenvision say the quality will still be high.

"It'll look great," MSNBC president Phil Griffin said. "We're thrilled about it."

Would they have done the same for Juan McLame had he got elected? I think not. Like Ann Coulter said brilliantly in her new book (and if you haven't got it yet, do so), "the media wants to screw Obama, only in the sense they want to have sex with him."
