D-Day Weekend Linkfest

Today we remember those brave souls who stormed the beach of Normandy to fight for the liberation of Europe and to save her from total fascist enslavement. Here's the speech given by Reagan on the 40th anniversary of D-Day at Point-du-Hoc in 1984:

Please take a moment today to remember those that gave their lives for not just European freedom, but our own. Now the linkfest.

Big Day For Barry

Going around the blogosphere, I've come across a hilarious blog from TCD reader Innominatus with some funny scripts of B.O.'s world in the White House. I'd love to see a skit like this on television, but we all know we wouldn't see this on SNL or on Letterman anytime soon.

[Senator Reid, on TV] "We'll be taking out summer recess soon. The odor of perspiring visitors touring the Capitol is already beginning to bother me. Usually this doesn't become a problem until the first week of June. How much evidence of global warming do we need before we act? How much BO do I have to smell before a bill gets passed?"

[Obama, hearing his initials from the TV speaker, looks up from his Che Guevara coloring book]

[Reid, continuing] "And when we get back from recess, we'll be working very hard on the budget. It might seem like it would be easy to spend all those trillions on whatever we want, but we need to have some long, hard discussions about how our spending will improve our electoral chances. That takes a lot of time. If Obama expects us to schedule hearings for his Supreme Court nomination, he better hurry up. There's no way we're coming to DC in the summer, and we mustn't be interrupted during the fall spending spree. It's pretty much now or wait 'til next year."

[Obama, into intercom] "Rahm, ya there?"

[Rahm E.] "Yes, sire"

[Obama] "We need to talk about our SCOTUS nominee. Assemble the troops. I want you, Axe, White House Counsel greggycraig, and Judiciary Committee Senators Leahy and Specter" [Goes back to coloring Che's beard]

Read the rest of the post here. Great job there Innominatus and keep up the good work.

Innominatus's Take On Barry's 100 Daze

This made me laugh my ass off. Just about as funny as anything on Iowahawk or IMAO. And certainly more realistic than portraying Nobama as a Messiah. Read the script, and try not to get any Coke on your monitor:

[Obama, to himself] "Hmmm. 100 days already. By my calculations, my first year in office is already 27.4% passed. Dang! That means my first term is already almost 7% passed! Where did the time go?!? At this rate, my 10 years in office are already almost 3% elapsed! There's still so much to do!"

[Michelle O] "Hurry up in there! Get your scrawny behind outta that bathroom!"

[Obama] "Almost done. One last thing!" [Looks in mirror] "Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who's the coolest Prez of all?" [Admires reflection] "That's what I thought."

[Obama] "All yours. And babe, I really love that extra mirror you had installed in the bathroom."

[Michelle O] "Fool! I put that mirror up there for ME! So I can see my sculpted body from every angle! Quit wasting it on yourself!"

[Obama] "Sorry. I'm headed down to the oval office for soundcheck."

Need For Authors

Due to my hectic schedule with family, working, and other things I do, I am looking to recruit more bloggers to join TCD. I actually started The Conservative Dominion in hopes of gaining more momentum for the conservative movement and reaching out to those who aren't that informed when it comes to current political events, and wanted to not only do this myself, but to have others come on board so they can help spread the word too.

If you'd like to join as an author at TCD, send me an e-mail or comment here. If you have a blog already, I'll be more than happy to add you to the blogroll as well. But you must know some HTML, be a conservative - not a psudeo conservative (e.g. David Brooks, David Frum), and be original in your posting, and can post sometime between Monday and Thursday. I've already invited Gregory of Yarddale from Teh Resistance to join the TCD team (he has a great blog) as I am cross posting a bit over there for him.

So leave a comment or e-mail me with your info (email address, name of blog, etc.) and I'll be more than happy to see to it that TCD is a family of like minded bloggers attempting to take back America. God bless.

Iowahawk's Requiem For A Lightweight

Very funny. It's almost like a scene out of Rocky with Bam Bam Obama against........a Brunswick bowling ball? That's enough to leave ya punch-drunk. Still, hilarious. I recommend not attempting to drink anything at your computer monitor while reading this.

Rhonda explains Mandatory Volunteerism

If we're supposed to be a nation of freemen, what the hell is up with the "Mandatory Volunteerism" Nobama has in the "GIVE Act"?

Maybe the dress code will be as liberal as Sharise portrays here. I really don't look that good in brown anyway.

TCD Interview With Zo

This last week, I had a chance to interview Alfonzo Rachel (better known as "Zo"), the owner of Machosauce Productions. Most of us have gotten a chance to see a few of his great videos, but I thought it'd be great to find out a little more about him.

To fix the confusion, I'm in green and Zo is in blue.

Zo, love your vids, just wanted to ask ya a few questions here. What got ya interested in politics, specifically conservatism?

I'd have to say liberals did. I'd witness their cynicism, and how they find fault with everything, yet justify the very things that contribute to us going down. I got sick of 'em, and just started rebelling against their know it all, elitist, condescending, cynical, disposition!

can see that. Kind of hit me the same way back in 2001 when a lot of them turned their back on the country even after the September 11 attacks. Living in California you must see that a lot, huh?

Yeah, they're out here for true. In their eyes America had it coming. Funny, they don't seem to think they have it coming. Just everybody else!

Oh they will. The buyer's remorse over Obama seems to be happening bigger and faster than expected. But why do you think so many fell for his empty platitudes and "hope n' change" rhetoric in the first place?

The country hasn't learned how to grow up. There are more and more of us growing up without fathers teaching their kids how to be men, and women, and single mothers who struggle to make ends meet, and can hardly teach their kids what it takes to grow up either.

Looks to me like the country is in a state of arrested development, mentally, emotionally, and spiritual. This syndrome makes our elections more like a presidential election for a middle school.

Obama was the cool kid, who promised, more soda machines, no school uniforms, longer recess, less homework, etc. Hypnotize them to ignore the consequences.

Liberals want America to be represented by someone cool, and mysterious, and they wanted to look enlightened and be vindicated that they were opened minded enough to vote for a black man. Obama was just the black man they wanted. One the elites could control. Al sharpton is a lap dog for the democrats, but he would have been more likely to chew off his leash.

I see your point. It seems like quite a few people like Peggy Joseph, who wanted Obama to pay for her mortgage and fill her gas tank canceled out our votes just so they can have "Big Daddy Gub'mint" take care of them, although we had a lackluster candidate on our side who was picked by the New York Times. If only the ticket was flipped to read Palin-McCain.

So let me ask you, even thought I caught a few of your first vids on MySpace last year, when did you decide to go and do the whole V-log (video blogging) thing and why instead of just regular blogging?

Yup, he definitely appealed to the gimme gimme culture fo' true! We did have a lackluster candidate didn't we? Yet despite the perfect storm Obama had of a failing economy (that started goin' down hill like a car with Rosie O at the wheel and a heavy tail wind when the democrats gained the majority) a heavily protested war, (which would go a lot more in our military's favor if liberals would just get out of the way) allllllllllll the dazzle he got from Hollywood, and all the favoritism he got from the media, he still ONLY got 52% of the vote!

That was just against John Mccain. Which means Sarah Palin would have put a hurtin' on Barry!

I Vlog instead of blog because I more so feel I can convey my perspective more penetratingly that way than with blogging.

I've noticed you've gotten quite popular around the blogosphere. Frank J over at IMAO's got posts up with your vids, Hot Air has taken notice. And I also hear ya got a book coming out. Congrats on all that. Got a little sneak peek you can give us here?

Shout out to Big Frankie J! One of the 1st bloggers to give a brotha some play! Hotair playin' my vids is really exciting too. Michelle rocks, what what!!!

Yes sir, I'm tryin' my hand at a book! I'm thinkin' I may self publish it. Sure, I'll give a sneak peak. And then you can give me a sneak peak into if it sucks or not!

Excerpt from Introduction:

How is it that Conservatives keep getting dusted by liberals? The liberal ideology is so deficient in redeeming value y'all. We should be able to drop kick liberalism into the land of missing sock mates. It's as if they all sold their souls to the Devil to be able to beat us with nothing. The celebration of the equal sharing of misery is about all they give people to look forward to. It's a fist pumping fest against the republicans, the corporations, the military, the Church, and America. HEY HEY... HO HO... Fill in the blank has got to go!

Well, it's been great talking with ya, man. I wanna thank ya for all that ya do, and keep up the good work, bro. I'm sure we'll all be looking forward to what Machosauce has in the future.

You bet.

And for those who have yet to see it, here's Zo's new video again lambasting the libs on embryonic stem cells and thanking his supporters.

Malice Or Stupidity?

One of the blogs I frequent quite often is V the K's other blog (besides the hilarious Caption This!), The Resistance. Personally, I really like the thought out political insight mixed with South Park picture references. But he had a post the other day that really rang out. Is B. Hussein Obama this stupid or is it on purpose? You decide.

In less than 60 days, Chairman Zero has:

* Quadrupled the Federal Deficit.
* Set the National Debt to increase by more than all previous presidents.
* Tanked the Dow worse than any previous president
* Put a tax cheat in charge of the Treasury Department
* Had three presidential appointees drop out because they were also tax cheats.
* Designated almost a billion dollars to help Hamas wage war on Israel.
* Halted domestic energy exploration (a huge gift to the Saudis, Iranians, and Venezuelans, since crude oil is now up $10 a barrel from its December low point).
* Insulted the Prime Minister of Great Britain with cheap, crappy gifts.
* Had his Secretary of State embarrass us with stupidity and incompetence.
* Picked a fight with a talk radio host… and lost.

Some say that this is just the bumbling incompetence of a community organizer who is in way, way, way over his head. Others say that Bill Ayer’s and Jeremiah Wright’s prize pupil is deliberately out to make America a poorer and weaker country; either because he truly believes it would be fairer if America were no better, no different, no richer, no stronger than any of the Earth’s other countries, or because he thinks we need to be punished for past sins of a racist nature.

The question for his cult is, is this because Chairman Zero is incompetent, or is this his intended result?

My personal opinion, a little from column A, a little from column B.

The Antidote To Palin Derangement Syndrome

A fellow blogger Nunya is doing a coloring contest in response to an ad that was placed by mildly attractive actress/leftist nutjob Ashley Judd (read: Trashley Juggs) accusing Alaska's governor and current 2012 presidential hopeful Sarah Palin of mass killing wolves by helicopter in the north. (Check out IMAO for the origination of it all.)

Apparently the poor little overpopulated wolves that are endangering the caribou population in Alaska is sobworthy but a human baby getting a pair of forceps in it's skull and vacuumed out is not to this brainless wonder.

Here is my contribution. Granted, the hippy blood looks more pink, but that's only because hippies do not bleed red blood like you and me. It's more like Jello and the stuff inside Junior Mints.
